[Synopsis]
Shoya Ishida, a sixth-grader and former bully, develops an innocent curiosity about a new transfer student, Shoko Nishimiya.
Unable to express their feelings, the two drift apart and never understand each other. One day, Shoko transfers schools.
Five years later, the two have grown into high school students in different places. Since that day, Shoya, harboring feelings he wants to share, visits Shoko.
Reunited, the two go to meet classmates they had been keeping their distance from. Time, which had been standing still, slowly begins to move again, and their worlds seem to be changing, but...
