Kato Masaru is involved in a subway accident. The next moment, he finds himself in an apartment.
There, he meets the Tokyo team, devastated by the loss of their leader, Kurono.
He is then teleported from the GANTZ room to the streets of Osaka, where flames are rising due to a mysterious phenomenon.
He encounters the Osaka team, a group of eccentric characters. He battles a powerful army of demon-like aliens known as the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons.
He meets An Yamasaki, a single mother from the Osaka team who has thrown herself into the fight.
Despite being thrown into a series of shocking situations,
Kato fights a life-or-death battle with the Tokyo and Osaka teams in order to return to his only family, his younger brother.
