How to use:
◆Long press the power button for about 2 seconds, you will hear a "di" sound, three color lights will appear on the screen, and the tester's LCD display will start up.
◆Enter preheating mode and start a 20 second countdown.
◆When the preheating is finished and you hear the sound "D", put the mouthpiece in your mouth,
Blow into the mouthpiece for approximately 5 seconds until the 10 second countdown ends. (Don't take deep breaths beforehand).
◆We recommend that you breathe out completely for 10 seconds to ensure enough time to detect ketone bodies in your breath.
◆When the measurement is finished, a "D" sound will sound once and the measurement result will be displayed on the LCD screen.
◆After the measurement result is displayed on the LCD screen for 10 seconds, "OFF" is displayed. It will automatically shut down in about 2-3 seconds.
Ketosis level:
◆0.0 means there are no ketone bodies.
◆0.1-0.5 is a state of mild ketosis (fat is starting to be used as the main energy source by the body)
◆Between 0.5 and 3.0 is the optimal state of ketone bodies (fat is used by the body as the main energy source)
◆When it exceeds 3.0, it means that the body is in starvation ketosis.
◆If it exceeds 5.0, there is an excess of ketone bodies in the body and medical care is required.
◆When it exceeds 7.0, it means that the body is addicted to ketones.
Please note:
◆ Immediately after exercise, ketone secretion decreases due to the influence of stress hormone (cortisol), and ketone levels may temporarily drop.
If you take the measurement again after resting for at least 30 minutes, you can confirm that lipid metabolism becomes active and the ketone level increases.
◆Measurement immediately after a meal may cause fluctuations in the values. Please wait at least 30 minutes before taking the measurement.
◆As this is a precision device, the sensor has a limited service life.To maintain accurate measurement results, we recommend replacing it after 300 uses or once a year.
