Bodhisattva Seishi is the guardian deity for the Year of the Horse. He is said to be the bodhisattva of mercy and intelligence, and will defeat and exorcise evil spirits and open up the path forward.

■Seishi Bosatsu (Seishi Bosatsu) Amulet for those born in the Year of the Horse Seishi Bosatsu is a bodhisattva representing wisdom, appearing as the right attendant of Amida Buddha, alongside Kannon Bodhisattva on the left. His appearance is very similar to Kannon Bodhisattva, but he is characterized by the water jug he carries on his crown, which contains the "water of wisdom." He is said to be a bodhisattva who illuminates everything with the light of wisdom, saving people from confusion and suffering so that they do not fall into the realm of hell or hungry ghosts, and gives them the power to see things correctly and make judgments. It is said that he was named Daiseisho because of his great strength, so great that the earth shakes when he steps down on it.
