■Product Characteristics■ ▼Durability, Heat Resistance, and Stretchability... PVC is a synthetic resin, so it is durable and heat-resistant. Durability refers to its resistance to common chemicals (acids and alkalis). Avoid using organic solvents as they may dissolve in them. ▼About Gloss and Protective Film... Like 5D and high gloss, this product has a mirror-like sheen. It also comes with a protective film, which must be removed before use. ▼About Edge Treatment and Workability... Because the product structure is the same as 5D and high gloss, the edges must be folded back to prevent moisture from seeping through the gaps in the sheet. If moisture seeps through the gaps in the sheet, the color may appear darker, but it will return to its original color upon drying. If there are minor creases or air bubbles trapped during application, you can reapply the product by warming it with a heat gun and peeling it off. Wrinkles may occur during application due to air bubbles, so work slowly and do not scrub too hard.
■Difference from cutting sheets: The degree of stretchability is determined by the plasticizer content of the vinyl chloride. Wrapping sheets have a higher plasticizer content, making them more stretchable than cutting sheets. Cutting sheets (also known as carbon cutting sheets, carbon seals, carbon stickers, carbon cutting sheets, etc.) are not stretchable, so they are not suitable for application to curved surfaces, but are suitable for items that do not need to be deformed by heat, such as stickers. Wrapping sheets may shrink due to stress after application, but this can be avoided by post-heating them, so they can be used for stickers just like cutting sheets. The same can be said for 3M cutting sheets.
