Koya Chumon Hinoki “Myojo” Koyasan is a sacred place in Buddhism that was opened around 819 by Kobo Daishi Kukai as a place of ascetic training. It was certified as a World Heritage Site in 2004. We have prepared arm beads/bracelet made from the same log as the "Chumon" located in the center of Mt. Koya. The current Chumon gate is in its eighth generation and was rebuilt for the first time in 172 years since it was destroyed in a fire in 1843. This product uses a sacred tree that was felled during the reconstruction, and is a valuable item that uses the same sacred tree as the Chumon gate.
