Among Ai Yazawa's works, the work “NANA” is hugely popular. I designed an illustration of “Nana Osaki,” the main character of “NANA” drawn for this collection. Another main character, “Hachiko,” is depicted on the T-shirt that Nana is wearing.
Yazawa Ai Collection
Yazawa Ai is a Japanese manga artist who will celebrate the 40th anniversary of her debut in 2025. This moving work has been loved all over the world throughout the ages, and the stylish fashions of the characters are also one of the popular points. In this collection, we took 4 works, “Not an Angel,” “Neighborhood Story,” “Paradise Kiss,” and “NANA,” and finished with special designs, such as those inspired by the styles in the characters' works and illustrations drawn for this collection.
Yazawa Ai
Born in Hyogo. Debuted in 1985 with “That Summer” (“Ribbon Original” early spring issue). It won the Shogakukan Manga Award for “NANA” in 2002.
